Von's 801 Mallet like all other models reveal the initial date of manufacture.
August of 2001 was first time this design was introduced. Weighing 370 grams
raw, the balance when shafted is hefty yet comfortable. It is offered in various
designs.

Von's 801 Mallet is a smallish
headed 370 gram mallet available in limited
quantities and design options. The putter has
many pleasing aspects, including simple lines
and milling that produces minimal ground
contact. A very solid performer on and off the
greens, as in Texas wedge style putting. Our
center shafted version has been most popular,
aligns easily and rolls the ball tightly.
